Mesonet: Your Personal Oklahoma Weather Station
Mesonet is a free lifestyle app that provides up-to-date weather information for Oklahoma residents. Developed by Oklahoma Mesonet, the app offers real-time data from 120 weather stations across the state, as well as forecasts, radar, and severe weather advisories. With Mesonet, you can easily access the same information that the experts use, all from the convenience of your phone.
The app allows you to get live weather observations from the nearest Mesonet weather station to your location, thanks to your phone's built-in GPS. You can also check out 5-day forecasts for 120 locations across Oklahoma, updated hourly with the latest National Weather Service products. Additionally, Mesonet provides maps of air temperature, rainfall, winds, dew point, humidity, soil temperature, soil moisture, pressure, solar radiation, satellite, and upper air. You can also view advisories for severe weather, fire weather, flooding, high wind, heat, winter storms, frost/freeze, ice, snow, and visibility. Finally, the app features live NEXRAD radar data from Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Frederick, Enid, and other radars surrounding Oklahoma, as well as Mesonet Ticker news feeds.
